It's possible to split files without creating a unite file, and then the end user will need a copy of the application to unite the files. It is full of options you can choose to split files into particular sizes or a particular number. Otherwise, to uninstall GSplit, select the Add/Remove Programs icon in the Windows Control Panel, then highlight GSplit and click on Remove or Maintenance (it may change with different versions of Windows). More instructions in the Readme.txt file.
The program isn't very attractive, but it's small and lightweight. If you have the Portable edition, you just need to remove the folder where you copied GSplit.
